Unimpressed I went into this store approximately a week and one half ago. I was inquiring about machines and long-arm lessons. I have been in the quilting business for some time and have been asked to rate some of the shops for numerous fabric manufacturers and distributors. I was treated extremely rudely when I was in the shop. As a quilter I have always felt an unspoken code of grace among women. I did not feel anything of the kind in this shop. Thread Great name for a nice little shop. They have some great products with lots of selection to choose from. The store was clean and well kept. The staff was excellent.
A Common Thread is a nice quilt shop Nice selection of Batik fabrics here. A whole room devoted to quilt books and magazines--a great place to look for inspiration. They also have a lot of unique buttons and other quilt embellishments.
