The Chimney Xperts- I had a horrible experience with this company. They sent 2 techs out to do a $99 special chimney sweep. Upon arrival and looking at my chimney, the techs determined it didn’t need to be done. I appreciated their honesty. The tech emailed me proof of this as I needed it in writing for my home sale. Since it wasn’t on business letterhead, I contacted the company to get it on their letterhead. DO NOT HIRE. Negative stars is more accurate but not an option. I mistakenly hired this company to inspect, and then repair, my condo’s (which we were selling) fireplace AND my house’s chimney. I had, in an email, a discounted rate for some of the work due to the larger amount of work we were having done. However, when the invoice was received the discount wasn’t included, and when I asked if the original discount would be honored, it took several back and forth emails to have them honor their offer.
