The guard dog at my former job got ahold of a kitten and tore it up pretty bad. I took it to Parkview Animal Hospital & they wanted to put it down. Every where I called wanted a fortune to treet him, I couldent afford it. Finally I called the Humane Society & even they couldent help me. But they recomended A-Care. I called them & they got him in that day. They gave me a free office visit, kept the kitten overnight, and gave me a massive discount. They have by far the best prices in the area. It is obvious that some of the staff aren't as compassionate as others. I would not take my pets there for any emergency care situations, because of this. I stick with getting vaccines, and do not regret getting my pets fixed there.
Took my dog in with a nail broken all the way off, after 5 days her leg was swollen twice the size. When I called to bring her back in, & only had a few hours available to get her in, they could not accommodate her, & Thus, my baby, unless I find a new vet today, could have something worse going on, but obviously they cant take 5 minutes to see her. Great prices, great availability, very friendly to us and our dog, and very honest. We have used them for 8 years, with 2 cats and a 2 dogs.
It's gross. It looks like a small run down place. It smells like cat pee as soon as you walk in and it does not look like a professional office at all. The vet does not seem very compassionate with pets. I would not go back there. It may be a little bit cheaper, but not nearly enough to degrade down to that level.
This vet is very reasonable and gives excellent care to your animals.
