I was told by the merchant that prior to coming to my home, the labor would be 30.00 per hour. I was told the estimated amount of time for the labor is 1 to 2 hours. When the merchant came, they stated the cost would be 440.00. I telephoned their supervisor, who stated that the person who told me the cost was 30.00 a hour was new to the company and misquoted. My wife checked float switch first, No Water In Pan. I was not home, Call A/C Doctor. Due to Their Faulty multi-meter (my son overheard Tech and Service Mgr Glen conversation) A/C Doctor misdiagnosed a bad Float Switch as bad wiring from the thermostat. Charged $340 to replace wiring --- System Still Did Not Turn On. Further investigation led to the most basic problem when thermostat does not work -- Bad Condensation Pan Float Switch, No Low Voltage Power to system. Will NOT credit $340 for misdiagnosed problem. Isiah H. took care of my AC/heating problems today. He is extremely knowledgeable and thorough. He diagnoses the problems correctly and does the job completely. He also installed a new thermostat for me and walked me through some features I didn't know.. He's very patient if you have a question or don't understand something, and can explain absolutely anything. I highly recommend using AC Doctor Complete and Isiah!
