I had two hot water heaters installed by Pope, and they aren t working properly. Discussions continue, and my next post will give details on their response. I agree with previous posts, their prices are high.
A&J does excellent work for a very reasonable price. I live in Highland Park and have become a do-it-yourselfer because the quotes I get from contractors are generally ridiculous. Joe and his team are the ONLY contractors I ever recommend to others and everyones been very satisfied so far. Call them with confidence.

Joe and his team did a major remodel on our bathroom and replaced a hot water heater. Unlike most contractors he was there when promised and worked until the project was completed. He even had a lot of great ideas that made the design even better. Were thrilled with how it came out. He may not be the cheapest in town, but the quality of the work for the price represented a great value to us.
I have to agree with Bettys review. The work was done satisfactorily, however I found them to be EXTREMELY over-priced for the service they performed. I had also been promised a refund regarding their Preventive Maintenance Plan-- I had determined within 2 hours of their visit- we changed our mind and were not interested in this "plan." I called their office, was assured that the \$77.00 would be refunded--alas, that NEVER happened. I wont be using them nor recommending them in the future.
Joe showed up on time and found the water leak in no time. He showed me how to save money on our hot water heater bill, with a hot water circulator. He cleaned up after he left. I have recommended to all my friends. He offers a 100% satisfaction guarantee, so you cant lose.
