Richard did an amazing job inspecting a house I was looking to purchase. He did an outstanding job throughly complete documentation, fully detailed in every aspect performed. He spent his time answering questions and explaining all the 4 points inspection which I have no knowledge of. I also felt that Richard is looking out for me as a 1st time home buyer. In our new home purchase, Richard got immediately to work and right away he found a critical fire hazard in the exterior panel where a hack job was done to repair a short circuit and arc flash damage to the panel. The repair was not up to NEC code and it's repair, had we lived thought it, would probably be in the $5,000 range. Source: Am a Professional, Licensed Electrical Engineer. "Would highly recommend" is an understatement.
From my experience Richard Tan is efficient and methodical in his inspections. From the way he conducted himself, to his attire and camera shots, you can tell he is a master in his craft. He is a very detailed oriented person as you will see in his reports. Thanks to him, I was confident purchasing my first home. Richard took the time to talk to me at all times of the home buying process. In addition, he answered any questions or concerns that I had.
