Every single one of these reviews here are 100% correct. Except BarryY. He's obviously an employee with something to lose. This company is a joke. I had a 2 year labor warranty, had an issue within two years and called them. The technician came out, filled our unit with freon THREE times in THREE weeks without checking for a leak. They could NOT find the issue. One of the most terrible customer service experiences I have ever had! They tell you one thing then don't follow through. I ended up 5 days in June with no A/C because they told me for 3 days straight they would "be there in a few hours". Their reps would say they would call back then never would and not once did I receive an apology or an explanation on why it was taking so much longer than they said it would and why no one would ever call me back. They sold me a unit 4 years ago...Amana 15 seer. They were contracted to do regular maintenance and the second year the motor on the interior unit died. The tech stated it was due to not being serviced(tech who serviced unit had been let go). Part was covered, Labor was ..$800. 4 years in...unit stops cooling. Tech says common that these units lose refrigerant at $68/pound(5 pounds). Internet says that it is not common unless there is a leak. Guess who installed the unit? and maintained it?...Oh well, bend over and pay $350 ... read more

A-Able Rip Off Scam – This company is the worst! Their technicians work on commission, so the more they charge you, the more money goes in their pockets. I had to give up on them after they charged me several times for the same problem. One time they came out and charged me $90 to tell me nothing was wrong with my a/c. I called another company and they found the freon leak. My house is now cold...no thanks to them! Beware, these guys are all about the money!

THE WORST A/C COMPANY - THEY DO NOT CARE – I have tried for a week to get a simple service call done on a air unit they replaced a year go, and I have gone no where with these people! The front desk girls are rude and never call you back, when they say they will, and when you call back, they act confused and don't know anything. Tampa Air Conditioning Company That Does It Right! – If you live on the east coast especially in the south like I do then you know about the heat and humidity. One of your best friends is your air conditioning unit. If that goes south then your in big trouble and that's what happened to me last summer. I don't know whether a bunch of units went down at about the same time but I had a really difficult time getting someone to come out in a reasonable time frame. Great service, Honest technician – They came out and diagnosed a problem with our AC. The unit was not cooling. Turned out ot be a capacitor (sp?). Tech seemed knowledgeable. He explained what was wrong, and fixed it for a reasonable price. He could have easily tried to BS us into a new unit, as ours is old. But he didn't pressure us at all. Said the unit still has plenty of life left in it. We were very happy with their honesty and service. Would definately call them again.

Never finished the job! – Had a central a/c unit installed. Installation went well - just needed sheet metal fabricated to finish the job. That was over a month and a half ago. They won't return my phone calls (six to date)!

Be Ware – If you take a chance be ware. They will not stand by any time they tell you they will be there. The owner called me or whom he said he was the owner and told me I should have told the scheduler that the time she gave me was not acceptable, that it is their business practice to be available late in the day and so you do not have to take off work and that I was lying when I said that I was told by his people that from 3-6 pm was the only time available for that day.
