The tech spent about an hour cleaning the filters and checking the ducts and it’s been over a year since we’ve had our HVAC system serviced. He went into depth about how the reduced performance was most likely caused by a build-up of garbage and advised that regular maintenance be carried out in the future.
I was given a higher fee by another business and they came out and conducted the duct and vent cleaning in less than two hours and indicated that the buildup at the vents was causing a lack of airflow. The last tech never said anything about a build-up and it was a definite difference when it was rectified.
