I trust A440 with my violin. Ever since I got it adjusted in their shop last spring it's been sounding very nice. They're friendly, and they're able to answer every question in the book. I recommend all my colleagues go to their shop and get an honest opinion about what they need.
My wife and I spent 6 hours yesterday picking out a new violin for our son and enjoyed a tiring but wonderful experience due to Andrew’s patience and knowledge in his craft. Thank you Andrew !!! The violin sounds Awesome!!!

Had some long over due maintenance on my bass: fixed open seam, new bridge with height adjusters, adjusted the soundpost, dressed the fingerboard, and replaced the strings. Man, it has this great, warm, phat tone with a slight growl and that tell tale Spiro weich jazzy character ... it’s awesome! Big kudos to Yumi et al at A440 Violin Shop!
Outstanding service and staff, Micheal and Bobby and two of the best people in the city to know for anything string instruments. Don't waste your time going elsewhere, you will thank me.
