I hired A-1 Roofing in Aberdeen to clean and treat my roof, including cleaning the gutters. Unfortunately, the work was significantly incomplete. Moss remained on portions of the roof, a shingle was knocked loose, the roof treatment was insufficient, and the gutters were not cleaned as agreed. What disappointed me most was that there was no quality review or follow-up by management to confirm the work had been completed properly or to obtain my approval before considering the project finished. Hayden from Aberdeen office came to my coastal home in Grayland two weeks ago for a new roof estimate site visit, but never gave me a quote. Same thing happened with Roof Doctor. As far as know, these are the two main roofing outfits in this area.
The estimate for my roof replacement was on par with other roofing contractors. My salesman (Kyle, I believe) was a pleasure to work with. The crew worked very hard at the tear off of old roof and install of new roof. This was a complicated roof being 12/12 pitch and working 20+ feet in the air. The crew did daily cleanup and generally left the worksite in great cleanliness. Hayden and his team did a great job installing our new metal roof after a tree fell on our home. The damage to the roof was extensive requiring repair of rafters and fascia. The A-1 team was professional and efficient and kept us in the loop during the process. I highly recommend A-1 roofing!
