Mark Schulte was hired to complete a structural engineering report. The report was needed for the KCMO permit and plans section, to issue a permit to rebuild a foundation wall on a residential property. Mr. Schulte's work was inadequate according to KCMO permit and plans. The city asked that Mr. Schulte answer seven questions the city had regarding his report prior to issuing a permit. Used A-1 Professional Engineering before deciding to buy a house in October 2015. Pros: quick, knowledgeable Cons: Takes money and is ready to move on to next appointment. Rather than this guy understanding that I was paying for his time to provide me advice and education about the house that I may be buying he was more concerned about moving on to his next assignment.
