Both times he has been very thorough in the inspection in making me aware of any engine issues, as well as potential replacements needed in the future. Ernie has worked on our Chaparral several times, and when my husband bought a used fishing boat, Ernie installed the trolling motor, a stereo, and made repairs needed. I highly recommend A1 Marine. He’s a big help!
Hired this “business” to help us repair our new-to-us boat. We used our pontoon boat one time then it started acting up. Long story short, we hired Ernie based on a family recommendation. After a few delays he finally met my wife to get the key and when he went to start it he said the battery was dead. Wife said he never tried to charge or jump start the battery, and that he immediately said the battery needed replacement. Charged my wife almost $500 for a battery that DID NOT NEED REPLACEMENT. This is a Marine Service Company you can trust! My boat had a steering hydraulic leak. Called them, they came when I wasn't home, fixed the problem left a very reasonable invoice. I trust them, their work, their charges and that is really saying something!
