Poor Equipment Maintenance – I always like to support the local businesses in my neighborhood rather than the corporate giants. It had been a number of years since I rented a roto-tiller from A-1 and even though I had problems--I thought I would give them another shot to win me over. BIG MISTAKE! Horrible customer service! When we had a dispute regarding a rental, an employee threatened my husband and I with a hammer. Found out that they have an unsatisfactory rating with a Business Bureau with 3 unanswered complaints in the past 36 months. Go somewhere else!!!
