DO NOT LEAVE YOUR CLOTHING HERE. Called to see if they specialized in wedding dress cleaning and "Ronak" indicated they did. Upon leaving dress he indicated I may leave garment bag and he'd place dress back in it once cleaned. Stated $99 to dry clean dress. Called a week later for pick up and once there, the other attendant gave dress without garment bag and charged $124.25 which exceed the amount for tax. The most rude and terrible service!!!!! This I believe has been ingrained from the Manager and is slowly trickling to the lower level employees. Upon dropping off my clothes the cashier explained that they would call to give me the total price of my items before proceeding with any work. This I found to be awfully strange; which dry cleaners don't know how much they charge to dry clean or iron garments??? Especially one that has been in business as long as this one has?? Excellent Work but EXPENSIVE!!! – I almost feel bad writing this review, but I wish someone had said something about the prices in their reviews. My loss is your gain! So I just moved to the neighborhood and checked out the reviews for the best place to call my new dry cleaning home. A-1 had incredible reviews so I hauled a giant bag of dry cleaning over (that had built up during the move to Bellaire). Although you were shocked by the price of their care for your apparel, I wonder what would your reaction be if you paid $2,00, and they messed up your cleaning? As a person who looks at dry cleaned apparel daily I am appauled, at the fees they charge, and the items have been pressed with STAINS, still on clothing, for shiiny pattern on fabric, because care not applied to fabric. For those of us who don't care about COUPONS, but good cleaners, Great to know A-1 Dry cleaners is in Bellaire.
RONNIE IS AMAZING!!!! – I live in Dallas but planned to have my wedding in Houston. When I began calling around I was ASTONISHED to hear prices like $100 and $150 dollars to steam and press my dress. I was told that because the dress was "big"and had hand beading that I would not find a better price. Great service, EXCELLENT results – When wearing a new white silk blouse for the first time, I spilled red wine all down the front of it. I was unable to get to the dry cleaners until five days later. A-1 turned a shirt with a nightmare of a stain into something that looked brand new. I was beyond impressed--I thought my blouse was unsalvageable. I would recommend them to ANYONE!
Awesome service – I've been a recent convert to A-1 after nightmarish experience with Pilgrim Cleaners. They ruined my practically new Ann Taylor's jacket in 2008 and still has not resolve the issue until today. Ronak was awesome with his service and quotes. My "white" cloth actually came out to be "white" and stains were always removed. He is SUPER polite and friendly. Ask for Ronak when you call. He is the go to person for A-1.
A-1 Dry – Without a doubt, A-1 is the best cleaners I have come across in the area. Everytime I go, they are waiting with a smile on their face ready to assist me.
