Horrible Customer Service, Do not Recommend (also a real former customer) – I brought my computer in on a Mon for a $40, .5hr diagnostic (they said this labor would count towards the final $$). When I brought it in they said it was a broken DC jack, the piece connects to the power cord. Highly Recommended – I took my Apple laptop to A-1 Best because they were referred to me by a friend despite some bad reviews I decided to give them a shot , I was very impressed with the service quality and the customer service level and their prices are very competitive, I had my Mac laptop first looked at by a Mac specialist store and they recommended to have the motherboard replaced the cost over $950 parts and labor 3-4 weeks to repair , A-1 was able to diagnose the problem in 2 days they called me when they said they w... read more
Do not recommend! – Avoid these guys. My experience was that they are not honest and overcharge. I brought my desktop there after a power surge rendered it unusuable. After several days they quoted me over $300 to fix the problems -- two hours of labor to install a new power supply and "clean up the registry file" and my BS radar went off. Fortunately I took it to a more reputable place for another estimate and had the work done for $125.
The Best service in town Easy and fast – My Dell laptop had wine spilled on it and stopped working, I took it to another laptop repair shop and they quoted me $600 to replace the mother board and have to wait 3 weeks before I get it back so I decided to get a second opinion and took it to laptopfix in Lake City. The Best and fast computer repair in town – I used them for years to work on my personal computer and my work; they are honest, affordable, very knowledgeable and do fantastic job. I used other computer service companies but never impressed like with A-1. I highly recommend them

Sorry Mohamed...I'm a real (former) customer – I'm not putting my personal information out there, but I can guarantee I'm a real customer and not involved in any way with the computer industry. I brought my Gateway 450ROG into your 15th Ave. office in Ballard, and for whatever reason, the computer was eventually transferred to your Lake City Way office. A great experience – I needed my screen fixed on my Dell laptop. I thought it would cost a bundle turned out I got it all done for about 200.00 bucks. Took about four days total. While I was in picking it up my mom picked up an IBM think pad for $350.00 pulse tax. She is happy as could be. Thanks A-1
