My Parents have used them for decades, so has my Aunt and Uncle. I use them for my classic MGB, they do excellent work on Classic Cars, and so easy to work with.

I see that on the surface they have a pretty good rating, but underneath this they are hiding something nefarious. I’ve always taken my vehicles here and given them a lot of money over the years. I’ve always been a loyal customer not knowing I’ve been potentially over paying for stuff. I had my car towed there because my alternator went bad. They called me and told me that my battery wouldn’t hold charge, so they wanted to put a new battery in it to test if it was the alternator. After researching automotive shops all across Fort Wayne, Indiana, I can confidently say that A-1 Automotive absolutely deserves its reputation as one of the highest-rated shops in the area. It's so nice to have a mechanic you can trust. Been coming to Bill and the folks at A-1 for six or seven years, for various service on two different vehicles. Always professional, quick and timely and good communication. I never feel like I'm paying for something that I don't need, and I trust the work they do. They're fast, knowledgeable, and stand by their work, and the price is always reasonable. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a trustworthy mechanic in Fort Wayne.
