Ensure the person that signs you up knows what is included in a membership. I signed up with a newer employee who got it wrong and I didn't get what I was told I would; membership basically just gets you in the door and everything else is extra. Cancelling the membership is a nightmare! They reduced hours and I was having medical issues. Based on discussions with attorneys I should be able to cancel without issue (or further payment). Very frustrating to work with. I had to move my work 30 minutes away, and need to cancel my membership. They won’t except an email with a scanned in signed letter canceling my membership. They won’t even accept a mailed letter. It has to be a delivered in person or CERTIFIED mail. Now I have to go to the post office and pay for a certified letter to end my membership. I have communicated I don’t live in the area anymore and I do not get a response.
