I am now waiting 30 minutes for a prescription that was called in by my Dr. over a week ago My father had used this pharmacy in Whittier for 10 years before he died recently. I decided to use it because he used it and also because it's independently owned and I like to try to support independent businesses. I won't be coming back. I just don't understand what's going on with them. I get the same script, every month, for the last year with them. It's never ready. I call 2 days ahead for them to prepare, so I can get it "on time", but it never works out. _______ For my latest (and what will be the last) I called yesterday and I'm told they're preparing it. I called this morning and they say 2 hours. I call 3 hours later still not ready. Bright Plaza pharmacy, since being taken over by 986 pharmacy is an utter disaster. From reduced operating hours, to a useless phone system and texting refill system, to prescriptions not done in time. Either you fix this disaster or we are moving my entire family prescriptions to CVS. (Which is further away but worth it). Seems like a corporate takeover of a family run type business was not in the best interest of it's customers. I've been with Bright Plaza for upwards of 30 years!... and now? What a disaster.
