My husband and I frequent establishments like this, and I even work in a very similar establishment. I'm not sure what the issue was that we received very poor service. Our two appetizer plates and empty drinks before we even placed our entree order were very sad. We placed our order 40 minutes after sitting down. The cocktails were amazing and were unique and well built, as was one of our appetizers (blue crab hushpuppies). The entrees were alright, but easily recognized as "heat lamped". Great atmosphere, great service and food was delicious. It was a change of pace for dining in the Denton Area. The 940 burger was excellent and would strongly recommend trying it. It's perfect for a quiet evening out!
Fantastic place! Lunch, happy hour, dinner, or late night. Always something new and the quality is always high at very reasonable prices. This will be a regular stop.
Every single meal and every single cocktail has been perfect. Top notch waitstaff and a beautiful space! Your fried chicken was the best I've ever had in my life and I'm stoked it'll be on the new lunch menu!
Finally had a chance to try this place out. Scotch eggs were amazing ... Shrimp and grits were the best ever!! Nice ambience..loved the music! Delta blues vibe we will be back!
My husband and I came for a date night last night and absolutely loved 940's. Great intimate atmosphere without being stuffy. The food was phenomenal and the service was outstanding! We will be back! We are so pleased to have such a great restaurant right in our own backyard!
I'm still dreaming about the shrimp and grits from last night! And the drinks are all tasty and {ahem} bold but the caipirinha is especially delicious. Go. Eat. Be happy.
