I have been here a number of times and have always received good service from the bartenders and staff. The drinks are ok, not the best in town, but fine. The food is ambitious and occasionally hits the mark. My biggest issue really is the terrible painting behind the bar. I and other women I have spoken with find it very troubling. It appears to be a giant portrait of what could be interpreted as a scared looking woman, her face caught in movement, with a bloody lip, or smeared lipstick or something. I had the short rib grilled cheese and that awesome brussel sprout salad. Delicious!
