I'm a monthly permit holder, and while they've raised my rate once in the year I've been parking here so far ($300 to $400), I still feel it's a fair deal for secured parking in downtown San Francisco (there are unsecured surface lots charging more nearby). During the day the garage is mostly used by folks working in offices in the area, and there's a valet guy in the booth monitoring the garage, and after hours/weekends, you can only get in if you have a clicker, so access is controlled.
