As a treat to myself I visited the 873 Cafe and Smith Hill Tavern. I have been here many times before. There are outside tables available. The ambiance on the inside is very nice. Especially when the fireplace is working. It is nice the bar is in its own room. Today I ordered the Fish and Chips. I substituted the French fries for sweet potato tater tots with aioli mayo dip. We have been to Smith Hill Tavern multiple times now—both with small groups and large gatherings—and they nail it every single time. Honestly, we haven't had a single bad dish here. From the starters to the main entrees, everything is consistently fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. What truly sets this place apart is the incredible hospitality.
