RecommendedI'm going to have to check the exact dates I was there...lol. Yes, it's been a while. I do remember we moved from one location which I believe was near the old PLDC bldg to near the parade field? I remember we had a girl in our unit, lil bit was her nickname, that was so small the Army didn't have a uniform for her so she wore civilian clothes. True story. I worked PLL.
I was stationed with 86th from 81 thru 84.
I went from E2 to E5 at the 86 and I was the fastest runner in the Hospital 93-98 Air Assault
Yes this is my old unit and I love it, good support to the soldiers...good old times.
I was assigned to the 86th Combat Support Hospital for 1974-1976 as a Specialist 6 91C
I was stationed in the 86th 1974-1976. We worked hard but we played hard too! I usually worked at TMC5, but also put in my time at the warehouse (mostly playing broom hockey)...and of course spent time loading trucks and putting up "bubbles" when we went to the field. Good times :-)
I was with the 86th CSH from 1992-1996. It was an incredible experience with many fond memories. Went through Air Assault school while there. Would love to go back and visit.
