They are aimed at dealing with contractors, and that is all they really want to deal with. But they are not honest enough to either say it, or encourage it by, say, adding fees to orders less than, oh, $5000. Had they done either of those things, I would respect them. The store manager, Mike, has a Napoleon complex. Its his way or the highway. All he cares about is the cute coordinator and not anyone else. Way overworks the yard and that's how they get away with doing drugs. He will run good people off because they don't agree with him. He's protected by upper management for a job he doesn't deserve. My husband and I went to the Sanford 84 Lumber today, and the gentlemen working there were very helpful getting us set up with plywood for us and our neighbor, and they even loaded our plywood into our pickup and would not accept any tips, as they said it was against their policy. The hard-working employees at this company are such a blessing and were positive, kind, funny, and helpful, even when faced with the stress of hurricane Irma, and the long lines of customers wanting last-minute plywood before the storm. I went into 84 Lumber in Huntersville to order a mahogany entry door in October of 2016. I found the door that I wanted with brass cam around the glass and a prefinished rosewood stain. The door was ordered and after I got home I saw that the caming was nickle instead of brass and called and was told that despite what was in the catalog that the brass caming was not available.
