There are such better, friendlier cafés in Monterey. I’ve been in this café many times, and have given many tries but now I have come to my limit. The customer service is very poor, And the food is decent at best. I feel like the art of customer service today is lost and this cafe is a perfect example of that. You order on a computer in a separate room and if you try to interact, it will likely make for a memorable and bad experience. The barista’s are rude! I don’t know what the deal is.

Went in for poke lunch but found out it’s only served after 2pm, so we decided to try the chicken biscuit and tri-tip sandwich instead. Unfortunately, the chicken biscuit was inedible. The biscuit was hot but rock hard, and both the chicken and bacon were so tough I could barely bite through them. The chipotle sauce was the only redeeming part. The sandwich was better but dry. Staff was friendly and the shop itself is cute, so I’ll definitely come back for the poke, but overall was pretty disappointed in the food today.

Got this the other day food was decent. Not nearly worth the price. Added tri tip to the breakfast burrito and couldn’t even taste it but still got charged four dollars for it. Would go back for coffee, not the food.
