809 at Vickery was the most perfect venue for our wedding reception. It was an industrial blank space that we got to customize and put our personal touch on. The greenery, courtyard & cocktail room at sense of elegance (and provide for some extra space). We loved being able to bring in our own vendors - really helped keep our entire night under budget. Mary was great - not always the most responsive but she eventually gets back to you. It didn’t effect much though as we had our own wedding coordinator!
As an all occasion pianist, I want to highly recommend this venue. I played a wedding there on June 2nd with my portable 88 key Yamaha piano & sound system. The acoustics at 809 are wonderful. It is such an easy unload with my equipment. Not every place I have played has such convenient access to where we need to set up my piano; plenty of space inside. I did not feel crowded. We, Reel Simple Studios recently filmed a wedding reception here after having the wedding at Marty Leonard Community Chapel. It was super pretty and loved the indoor/outdoor areas that they had. The exposed brick and the hanging lights were just super pretty! Really hoping to film a wedding ceremony here as well as first looks, portraits, etc! Totally recommend.
We had our wedding ceremony, reception, and rang in the New Year. What a great venue with a professional staff. Couldn’t have had a better time without 809 @ Vickery - thank you!
