-Major bug infestation -yes, they have backyards on some units, but they’re overgrown, infrequently mowed and covered in fire ants -dog feces all over the property. -trash litters the property
*** BEWARE OF ADDED FEES AFTER SIGNING LEASE*** This would be a 5-star review if the move out process wasn't as disappointing as it is. Now that my lease is up in a month, I received an email saying that there is a mandatory carpet cleaning fee due before returning keys. The Business Manager told me that if it is not paid, or a receipt from a professional cleaner is not turned in, Lake Walk's carpet cleaning fee will eventually be sent to collections. Good location but the apartments are not taken care of what so ever. I filled out two maintenance request weeks ago about bird poop being all over my front door area(hazardous) and nothing has been done about it. Also not just that but the walk ways are filled with bird droppings everywhere and looks like it’s never been cleaned. For valet trash they get it from your door so I put just my trash bag out because I didn’t want the trash can getting covered in bird poop and I got fined $100. I had a very disappointing leasing experience. BEFORE SIGNING THE LEASE, I was told that a discount would apply, BUT AFTER SINGING, the discount was not reflected as promised. I contacted the office about this issue, but I do not feel it was handled honestly or professionally. Based on my experience, I no longer trust this apartment complex and would not recommend it to future residents.
