Recommendedthe most amazing seafood nachos and poboys, huge portions. so amazing. we want to visit new orleans again just for 801 royals food. husband brings it up everytime we eat seafood or poboys locally. nothing has ever been so good.
With our first visit to NO, we were hungry, needed a drink & had no idea where to go. Then from outside we magically see 2 seats open up at the bar at 801, we reluctantly go in & were immediately welcomed & asked if we wanted a drink & food from the bartender, (This on a Fri night in NOLA!). My boyfriend & I look at each other with surprise & said, "YEAH!" The most hospitable bar I have ever been to!
