I'm maybe scoring harshly to correct the average. I felt like the service would have been good but was stifled by management - little freedom to play with customer and the offering. I asked for something off-list and it was provided but the reluctance was palpable. I thought "give this man his own restaurant to manage!". The food here is amazing. The service could be better for the quality and type of establishment.
Food was impeccable. Had a tomahawk steak that wasn't even on the menu and was to die for. Service was flawless. Waitstaff was kind, attentive, and very knowledgeable. Incredibly in-depth wine selection. More laid back atmosphere than I was led to believe but that is far from any kind of issue. 9.75/10 experience.
Excellent food and service! I ordered the filet with a Cajun seasoning that was amazing. 801’s happy hours are great too, I’ll be back again soon.
Had reservations although when we arrived on time there was no table available. Seated 10 minutes after and then waited for service. Our server was actually wonderful. Got an app based on her recommendation-pork belly. Would get again. Ordered steaks and sides-one steak came out hot and the other was cold. The butter addition wasn’t even melting on it.
