Bad Experience at the Heubner location – I bought a Groupon deal to treat myself to a massage for my birthday. When I got there, the place seemed nice enough, but immediately went downhill from there. After filling out the paperwork, which asked me to initial if I wanted a breast massage (who does this?) the woman asked if I wanted a male or female masseuse. I said female, but she told me no, a male would be better and I pretty much got no choice. Then, after showing me to my room, I got undressed and laid down on the table to wait. After a few minutes, the door was opened, and then two people started getting into a yelling match in front of my door. From what I could gather, the guy (looked like a teenager to me) did not want to do the massage, though don’t know for certain if this was the problem because the argument wasn’t in English. Anyways, they spent more than 5 minutes yelling at each other, the whole time with my door open and me basically naked on the table. Eventually they moved their fight down the hall a bit, so I got up, shut and locked my door and got dressed and left. When I asked for my Groupon paper back, she had the nerve to say come back later. Needless to say, this was NOT a relaxing environment and I will NOT be returning. I will just eat the cost of that Groupon.

Bad. Really bad – There were so many things wrong this place that I don't know if it's worth taking my time to write out all of them, so I'll be brief and just hit some highlights. The place is in a run-down strip, the office has worn, dirty furniture, the decorations are cheesy. I was asked to arrive 10 minutes early so I arrived 15 minutes early but had to wait 25 minutes for my appointment to begin. The masseuse doesn't speak English so when my neck was uncomfortable I couldn't communicate it to her. I spent the rest of the day massaging my neck because it hurt from the massage. The place was dirty. The atmosphere was not relaxing what with the pepto bismol pink paint on the wall and no decorations. It was somewhat dim and had relaxing music, I will give them that, but the walls of the room don't go all the way up to the ceiling so you heard everything going on outside the room, including spoiled, loud kids and cell phone ringers. I did not have confidence in the cleanliness of the sheets due to the grime buildup in the corner of the rooms. I was not given complete privacy; the masseuse kept taking my sheet off when I had to turn as if I did not know how to work a sheet. So after hanging out in my underwear practically she did only a so so job. It wasn't full body. She never massaged my neck, which is one of the places I really wanted her to concentrate on (but I couldn't communicate that to her, could I?). When I was leaving, the unfriendly front desk lady asked in her broken english if I liked the massage. I told her I've had better. She asked again as if this time I would give a tip. I just left. Overall, a BIG thumbs down.

Creepy, creepy, creepy – Wow! For starters, anytime your GPS say "You have reached your destination," and you don't know if you should get out and go in....Its a sign. But let me backtrack...Like others, when calling to book my appointment I spoke to someone that could hardly speak English. I was slightly put-off but decided that maybe that only solidified the fact that I was going to get a good quality Asian massage. Fast foward to my disappointment upon arrival. Despite the obvious warning signs (to include a *club* next door with blacked out windows, and the fact that the spa itself had no sign, just some stickers advertising prices and services on the door) I entered anyway. When I first walked in I quickly realized there was nothing relaxing about the place, and was greeted by someone who again spoke almost NO English. Possibly the same woman from the phone. Anyway, after we sort out that I have an 1130 appointment and am NOT requesting a 30 minute massage I am given my form which asks if I authorize a breast massage. Not that I think some people don't enjoy breast massages, and I am glad that they at least asked first but still....Of the 100's of massages I had over the year it was the first time I had been asked this question. Kind of creepy. After being escorted in my room, as I am lying there on the bed, I look over at the sign on the wall that reads something to the effect of... "We do not do sexual favors, if you are touched in a such a way, please report to management." REALLY!!!! What kind of place is this. Suddenly I pictured a room full of girls cuddled up in the back somewhere being forced to work. Moving right along, my therapist smacked gum in my ear the WHOLE time, and left 3 times without saying a word. By the way, I prefer massage oils to Jergens lotion *its true* any day of the week. On a decent note, the massage itself was alright. Not horrible, but quite possibly the worst I've had. A lot of areas were left un-touched (probably a good thing though), and it just didnt leave me feeling rejuvinated. At the end of the day, I felt dirty just for having been there. Other users are right, the walls do not go up to the cieling, you can hear everything going on, the English is poor, and the environment is creepy. Stupid me, I bought two of these groupons. Consider #2 forfieted. Maybe this is a new business and the owners are just trying to do the best they can but sometimes, in spite of your best efforts..It just isn't good enough.

Great Massage, Great Hospitality – My wife and I really appreciate Asian massage and the techniques the Asian culture has perfected for over thousands of years. We find it to be truly the best. We found the 8-Spa on Groupon and went in for a couples massage for our 23rd anniversary. Li was there to greet us and spoke pretty good english. They put us in the same room and my wife had a male therapist (Wilson)and Li was my therapist. They made us feel right at home and made sure we were comfortable. My wife enjoyed her massage tremendously and felt it was very relaxing. Li was very strong and I had one of the best massages of my life. We get massages regularly and the 8-Spa is the best we have found, especially for the price. We paid $90 each for 1.5hrs and left a $20 tip each. We would put up with any language barrier to get a massage this good any day. This was a great Asian massage and great hospitality. We are going back next month...

Worst Massage I've EVER received!!! – I needed a massage so when I found the groupon to this place I figured I'd give it a try. Upon making the appointment the lady on the othe end could speak no english and I could barely understand what she was saying. I couldn't make an early evening appointment at the Perrin Beitel location not sure why I still didn't understand her when she told me why. Anyway I wasn't too confident about my appointment so I went in there on the day of the appointment just to make sure they had me down for that night at the Huebner location. Deer in headlights--that''s what I got when i tried to have a conversation with the girl in the front. FINALLY after much jibberish with her coworker she determined that I was indeed in the appointment book for that night. Yes? Yes? Yes? frustrating. As if all of that wasn't bad enough, I figured the massage is probably pretty good since the regular price for an hour is $60. WRONG. A kid about the age of 12 walked me to a dark room and didn't say one word to me and just walked out and closed the door. I'm glad I knew what to do because otherwise he would have just left me there, I think. No introduction nothing. I wasn't even sure who would be doing my massage. So I went through the motions, got under the sheet and waited. the kid walked in my room again. I couldn't believe he was going to do my massage no way. I'm pretty sure he wasn't certified. I figured oh well, he's a guy maybe he's got some strength. WRONG again. I could've massaged myself better than that!! Guys Save yourself some time, money, and creepiness...go somewhere else.

Great Massage – When I feel under a lot of stress, that is when I need a massage. The first place I think of is 8 Spa. It is like a piece of heaven, from just an easy relaxation or a deep tissue, I always feel like a new person especially when it was a ruff week at the office! Go to 8 Spa and pamper your selfm because you deserve the best!

Best massage ever !!! – As a bodybuilder I live with constant muscle pain and tightness. To find a massage therapist that can accomodate my soreness is an abbsolute must. At 8 Spa I have found a home. I can honestly say that I visit 8 Spa at least once a week. The employees are fantastic !!! I have used every service they offer from the table shower, one hour massage, foot massage and hot rock therapy. I will never go any where else. I highly recommend the service and I urge you to disregard any negative feedback about this location. Totally the best massage hands down !!!
