A disgusting and unprofessional doorman named Freddy targeted me simply for visiting my family member in apartment 5F (Laura Wenig). His behavior was rude, disrespectful, and completely unacceptable. I will be escalating this matter to corporate immediately.
Wonderful homey building, friendly low key active neighbors, the best staff you could ask for, historic neighborhood is excellent and safe, location cannot be beat and south facing views above the 7th floor or so are especially unparalleled- sunny with beautiful view of the no-development-allowed protected historic West Village and gorgeous Jefferson Market library tower. Happy mix of various religion/secular educated pet loving folks who make the most of the city.
