676, better than I expected – I took my girlfrien there for our anniversary. We got a window seat that had a beutiful view of maichigan avenue. I have always had bad experiences with hotel food, but this time was differnet. We shared three small tastes. Foie gras, pork belly and house chips. All three were delicious and cheap to. The flavor combinations on both the foie and pork were spot on. We then had a flatbread, with shrimp and sweet corn. It was also good. A little salty though. The crust was obviously made in house an... read more

burger Had the opportunity to eat at this bar when we were in the area two years ago. They had the best steak burger and fries. I could not even finish it. The beer was good and cold and the service was great. I had a wonderful experience and would visit again.

Disappointing Experience – After reading the reviews, my husband and I made a reservation at the 676 Restaurant & Bar for a special dinner during our vacation to Chicago. We were incredibly disappointed! We were crammed into a corner by the window with the next table just inches away from us. The service was awful - every time the waitress came to our table, which wasn't often, she had mixed up our order. To top it all off, the food was mediocre at best. Don't waste your time and money.

Great food, drink and service – I love this place. Great atmosphere, great food and great service. Everything on the menu is delicious. Wine selections are wonderful. I was a little reluctant to try 676 as it is in a hotel (Omni Chicago) however this is one of my favorite spots in the city. Highly recommended.

#1 worst restaurant – We visited 676 a couple of weeks ago, the service was awful and the food was even worse. We were even fortunate to have one 676's little friends walk across our table. There are many great restaurants in Chicago and this is one that I would avoid. It is not worth the money or the experience..

Best kept secret! – We stayed at the Omni for 4 days; we dined at 676 for breakfast each day, some days lunch, afternoon cocktails & an evening dinner; we were most impressed & thoroughly pleased with the ambiance, great food, good wine & beverages, & wonderfully accommodating staff; from hostess to wait staff to manager; everyone treated us as their special guests; great view from the 4th floor to the activity on the streets; we enjoyed the cenergy of 676; we'll be back & we'll share with our frinds!

The Omni Hotel's signature restaurant combines stellar service and adventurous dining with an elegant Magnificent Mile atmosphere. – The Scene A fanciful Jack and the Beanstalk-sized vine with glass petals twines along a moonscape ceiling past a long bar and open kitchen, leading to a dining area divided in two by a curtain of translucent candy-colored glass squares. The high arched windows offer sparkling treetop views of Michigan Avenue, adding drama to the intimate space glammed up by high-backed chairs, chandeliers and w... read more
