The food and cocktails were both excellent! The service was also very good! Our server knew a lot about wine! After our dinner we decided to go back the next day for brunch and it was also delicious!
I went there on a recommendation from someone who works there and I absolutely loved the food, the people who worked there especially Alistair and Matt. The drinks were welled made and great atmosphere! Definitely a place to just enjoy and easy night of food and fun with friends.
I invited some friends to the Ballast Point Steal the Pint night at 622 in August, so we could get some cool BP pint glasses and taste some of their beer. I live in Roanoke but drove up after work to meet my friends, who live in Blacksburg. The facebook event start time was listed as 6PM (go look), but their paper promotional material listed it starting at 5, and they were out of pint glasses by 6. I appreciate that you're doing events like this, but the poor promotion of it is enough to make me not want to come back.
My shrimp and grits were awesome! We go almost every week! Ray in the wine bar is the best!!
