My most recent apartment in Allston, MA was managed by 617 Management. At the end of our lease, our security deposit had a significant amount deducted for vague "cleaning" fees and "3 missing smoke detectors." My roommates and I attempted to inquire about these charges, but none of our calls or emails were ever returned. Ultimately, this company is just like so many others in the Boston area just trying to take advantage of college students.
