RecommendedAs a fairly new runner this store has taken care of me and provided many activities that I have been able to participate in and feel like a member of a community. I will continue to buy my running supplies from this store and highly recommend them.
Great local shop with friendly staff who are experienced and helpful. My wife and I bought our last couple pairs of running shoes at 605, and they've always been awesome to work with. Especially this last time, I had some issues trying to get the right size and fit, and they were very helpful in finding the right fit for me.
Even though I am a runner I still get a bit of nerves walking into a running specialty shop. It's like going into a music store. I just always feel stupid with my questions. 605 is different. They have always made me and my friends feel welcome. Additionally, they are just excited if you are running your first mile or your first 100-miler. They love the sport and make it approachable. I highly recommend them.
Great to see small businesses thriving in the Mid West. I love running specific stores and this one has enough to keep the hardcore runner to the weekend warrior, happy.
I walked in today with a sore hip and knee from wearing walking shoes when running and left the store to run my farthest yet with my new shoes. Thank you Benson for your great help! Went to 605 to find new shoes after my Asics stopped fitting right, got the perfect fit/shoe on the first recommendation. Also told them I was doing a Spartan race and they recommended the Altra's for better traction, and they were a life saver on the hills. Thank you 605 you're the best, won't buy shoes anywhere else!
