I had to wait on hold for 20 minutes when the gate wouldn't open because it said my code was invalid. There should be a way for management to open the gate if there is a code that is malfunctioning or the box receiving the code is. I drove back to the storage unit while on hold, was told to try a few different numbers, and nothing worked. I need to move out on the next day and was told I'd get a call when it's fixed. 24 hour access is nice, but when they changed hands the prices went up and they added a new insurance fee every month!

Do I just have horrible luck or in spare box storage just this bad. Back in April my storage unit roof leaked and I lost a big majority of my stuff. Luckily I had insurance to cover a small portion of this. However they said they fixed the roof and I’d be all set. Well the other day I notice there was a small leak in the roof again so to be on the safe side I asked for a unit transfer. All the owners have been great, but the newest management company really seems quite professional. They even called me when I forgot to lock my unit. I had 3 units at one point and have been slowly getting rid of stuff and am down to one. They make the process of opening/closing units as painless as possible for sure.
