Had too deal with a landlord who would threaten for us too get anything fixed she would tell us too take it up with the landlords tenant board all the time because they didn't want too fix the unit also had mice in building and no heat for 3 months no hot water for two months and many more issues I had always paid rent on time
Quiet building, quiet neighborhood, close to transit and shopping. The building superintendent Stephanie is great. However, potential renters need to be aware. This building is all electric heat, which you pay for. Building is not energy efficient. Your electricity bills are going to be between $250 and $300 per month from December to April is on top of your rent. So make sure you consider that when thinking of moving to this building.
This was sort of a stopover and we were here for a year. It's an older building, mostly redone and nice inside. It's ridiculously quiet and a good neighborhood. Stephanie the building manager was great and always right there when needed. Downsides, electric heat, expensive in the winter. For 6 months the building directory didn't work. It's been fixed but Sterling Karamar should have updated residents. Rent is reasonable considering today's rates. Overall a good place to live.
Zero parking. Not a clean building
We have stayed for almost an year here. A good calm place. School, park and grocery shops are nearby. Bus stops are right infront of the building. You can reach any part of Brantford from here in minimum time. The laundry is available in the building not in the unit. Since dogs are allowed in the units , the washers will not be that much cleaner. There is onsite staff available.
