I call 535 Plumbing to light up the pilot light go my gas water heater and they said they could do it for $200. The guy came out for 5 minutes but couldnt do the service because he said I needed to replace my heater for $1400. I didnt have the money so I said to leave it and then he wants to charge me $125. When I made the service call they didnt clarify that even if the didnt perform the service that I was still going to be charged $125, if I was told thoI wouldnt have them come out. $1500 to install a water heater and then $125 more to pay a transfer fee to a store closer to them. Shame on this company. Drive and pick up the water heater. Drain the old tank, disconnect the old H C lines, disconnect the gas line,..........remove/replace water heater, new flex H C lines, attach gas line, fill with water and ignite the pilot. 3 hours max which comes to $500 a hour. Way over priced and no consideration for how an average person can afford their service
