26 year old Carrier air conditioning broke on the hottest day of July. I engaged 7 different HVAC companies for quotes. I wanted Trane reliability. Ryan from 5280 presented the best price for Trane Furnace and Heat Pump, with next day installation! 5280 did all the work to get the Xcel Energy rebates. Installation team were very attentive to details, and walked me through setting up schedules in the Trane Home App. 5 stars for 5280 Heating & Cooling!
I had a different company come and tell me I needed to spend $11,000 to replace our 8 year old system because it couldn’t be fixed. Ryan and Dave at 5280 came out, found the actual issue (not what the first company said was wrong) quoted 10% of that cost to fix and we are up and running like new! I can’t recommend them enough. They are honest and have great manners and work ethic. I’m incredibly grateful. Call them first.

Our three year-old Trane AC compressor started "buzzing" for 1-2 seconds periodically after start-up this summer. After some alarming internet research suggesting it could be a bad capacitor, contactor relay, or another serious problem, I called 5280, which installed the system in July, 2023.
