Affordable, upscale, spacious, friendly owner, conveniently located, and most importantly GREAT value for your investment - where else downtown can you book a private space for your events where you can host 50+ people, and have it ALL with a kitchen, 2 washrooms, ping pong table, karaoke system, nintendo wii system, stereo, pulled down screen, and large tables etc for only $300 to $400 per night? Definitely recommend it to everyone!
Great venue, rented it out for an office party. Its really a lot bigger than it looks - all the amenities were on point and the service was very professional. Location was very accessible - would recommend to anyone looking to host events!

517 Events offers an amazing open-concept space in a relaxed environment. Attended 2 parties held here and both went very smoothly and were so much fun. They had ping pong set up and karaoke. The staff was meticulous and prompt. They were very clear and upfront about their costs, therefore avoiding any pesky hidden fees other venues usually have. Great space for any event where you have 20+ people. All the amenities have already been thought of and there's really something for everyone (video games, ping pong, karaoke, etc.) but if you wanted to do something creative there's more then enough flexibility to do so. The staff helped bring our ideas to life such as having a manned photo booth, bar service, and organizing a competitive games tournament. They really were there to make sure we had fun and that our event was executed as envisioned.
