The first time I went, I was getting a fill in and my friend was getting a full set. Not even a week later , her nails began to fall off . Last time we had went I had received a full set and it’s not even a week later , 3 of my nails popped off. I would not recommend this place . The inside and the workers are nice but the service is not great.

After reading mostly glowing reviews, I made an appointment for a pedicure. I was the only client in the shop. My nail technician never smiled; I was flanked by 2 other technicians, one of whom my tech talked to (not in English) the whole time. I was posted at the drying station after the pedi. No one ever came back to check or say "boo," so I just left. Not a great experience!

They don't even deserve that 1 star. It was absolutely terrible service and I went in on a Wednesday night with my cousin and sister to get our nails done and me and my sister both got French tip so it would go with everything but the next morning when I woke up they were already chipping and by that night one of the nails were completely gone so the next morning we got up and went get them fixed and they did but they tried to charge me! We love 5 star nails! My mom, daughter and I have all been going here for many years. When my family visits from out of town we always make time for an appointment there. I love how clean the salon is and how everyone is so friendly. Also everyone there speaks English and you don't feel like they're talking about you. They are by far the best !

I have found my new guilty pleasure! I went to another salon for years, but they became too pricey for me so I started looking around, As most of you know, there are nail salons on almost every corner so narrowing it down could be quite a challenge. Several people told me about 5 Star Nails so I gave them a try. I was very pleasantly surprised, Their prices are uber-reasonable, and I'm in love with the pedi sea soak and foot scrub. They are so accommodating and make everyone feel welcome and at ease. Thanks! 5 STAR NAILS !

I almost don't even want to write a review, just because I want to keep this place all to myself. It's by far the best nail salon in Wilmington . Finally!!! # 1. CLEAN!!! EXTREMELY CLEAN # 2. I just got my eyebrows waxed here today. I left the salon in tears. I specifically said when she asked how I want them "not thin or short, I am trying to grow them fuller. I just want the strays cleaned up." Well when I was handed the mirror I saw two PENCIL thin eye brows. She took off at least half if not more of the width of my eyebrow. Not only that but the left one is so thin you cant even see the ends so it looks like its only about a 1/4 inch long.
