My Steve McQueen sushi roll with macadamia nuts and tuna was superb. The service was also exceptional. This was lovely meal for myself and my cousin after many hours of driving! Good pick for a fine dinner.
Great experience. Just moved to Bend ( not from CA) and found this gem. Exceptional food and the bartender was incredible, knowledgeable and made great recommendations. Bends food scene is unbelievable.
Great ambiance and super friendly and knowledgeable staff. The California salad was just what I wanted: tasty greens, ripe avocado, crisp cucumber and crab with a sweet miso dressing. My only disappointment was the bee bim bop served in the hot cast iron. It was so hot the rice continued to cook and became crunchy as though raw and I couldn't continue to enjoy it. It was too hot!
Everything from the food to the service, to the ambiance, was top notch. My wife and I both commented on how impressed we were with the food and even if the service wasn't great, and it was excellent, we'd come back. The owners and staff went out of their way to make our night extra special and for a couple with a newborn, this can't be understated.
Always great food & service. Make reservations & get there early on the weekends.
