Awesome! Jay Swift has hit a home run with his own place.. We have been there several times and have liked everything on the menu. If you like pork, try the three little pigs with mac and cheese, it is out of this world!Again can't miss if you want great food and service.
out of this world! I felt compelled to write this review after I read some harsh criticisms in previous entries. I dine out often and am extremely picky, having worked in fine dining restaurants from high school through grad. school. I came to 4th & Swift on a busy Saturday night, and received, world class service (as aforementioned, I am a harsh critic). 4th & Swift is a hidden gem in the 4th ward. A friend and I decided to try 4th & Swift after hearing great things about it. We were very excited to get dinner there. Our food was amazing and the service is excellent. We are already planning our next trip back!
Good food, bad desserts My foodie friend recommended this restaurant as an up and coming new place. It had a nice industrial vibe and cool, modern interior, although it is situated on the edge of a very transitional neighborhood (the road was dark and a little creepy). Food and service very good on a visit this week. Prices are high. The valet experience was not good though. Valet was surly and curt--something I have rarely experienced at any restaurant
It is a combination of a romantic evening and farm to table dining as the meals are the freshiest of the season. To ensure you "close the deal" order the Toffee Pudding for dessert.
Enjoyed the restaurant and bar. Great ambiance. Pork belly app was delicious and my wife really enjoyed the scallops. Definitely recommend!

Speckled sea trout... Nice change from regular trout. Great wine list, excellent desserts
