Disappointed All these great reviews, yet I can not say the same thing. I contacted 4byte4 via phone, I spoke with a woman who said the person who rescues lost drive info. was in a meeting and would call me back. It has been about 10 days since then with no response what-so-ever from them. I guess they do not have the time for non-business home computer drive salvage. Very disappointed.
Great Timing and Experiance. Great service and pricing. We needed quick website changes on the fly, and Shawn was right there to get all our issues straightened out, as well as educated us to why certain items were not taken care of by our last IT guy. I can recommend 4Byte4 4Byte4 provides fantastic service. After emailing someone else about my laptop who never responded, I contacted Shawn and we made an appt. Some of the other repair services charge a bundle if they have to come out to your location. Shawn didn't charge for travel and had a much more affordable fixed fee. He thought it might take an hour and it turned out to be 1-1/2 hours, but the fee was still less than the repair shops I called and he did a great job-- the laptop had been running very slow and freezin... read more
Saved my broken USB thumb drive! All I can say is AWESOME! When my dogs broke my USB thumb drive in my laptop (right angles folks) I was very upset! Important info on that drive. I checked places online and didn't want to send my drive away to be fixed (maybe). I called and dropped the drive with Shawn's lovely wife. Liz, Vancouver WA When Dell walked me through a hard drive reformat without warning me that I would lose everything, I was devastated. I lost all my personal documents and years worth of photographs of my children. 4byte4 went in for a very reasonable price and was able to recover about 75% for me. I am so grateful!
