Moving out of this apartment complex was one of the worst rental experiences I’ve ever had. The management hands out bogus fines, even for normal wear and tear, and the lease agreement is unnecessarily strict to the point of being unreasonable. During my time living here, multiple things in the unit broke, and the maintenance team did a poor job of actually fixing issues—they either took forever to respond or didn’t resolve the problem at all. Dennis & Desmond were so sweet and helpful!
48 West does not care about their residents and you will never see or get proper communication from anyone who can do anything to resolve issues so you feel like you're just screaming into the void most of the time. They seem to have great amenities but many of them don't function as they should or at all. Several machines in the gym are not functioning properly and are worn down to the point of wondering if any inspections are ever done to ensure the machines are still even safe to use. Maintenance was extremely fast at responding to our service call during a busy move in day. They are courteous and friendly. Everything in the kitchen was extremely clean! Dennis is very kind, conscientious, and a great Mr. Fix-it.
