Went to urgent care in significant discomfort with a confirmed internal hemorrhoid. While I was prescribed hydrocortisone, the NP was dismissive of my symptoms because the hemorrhoid was ‘small’ — as if size determines how much it affects daily life. No discussion of stronger treatment options,, and I left feeling belittled for seeking care. Patients go to urgent care because they’re suffering, not for fun. Being sick on vacation is so sad, but this place really helped save our trip! My kiddo woke up thinking they had an ear infection and so off to urgent care we went. We were in and out in just over an hour. Check in was quick and thankfully they had a room available right away. Once we were in the room, symptoms were tracked thoroughly, and just a few minutes of waiting had a student nurse practitioner check everything out. No wait time - that was good. Had a possible ankle injury. I had my temperature taken and heart rate checked. They dont have an X-ray machine. Had to go off site. Came back to urgent care, they said results would prob not be back same day and they would notify me. Never got a call so 2 days later I had to call. The results had come back but no one had called. I was told they don’t have an HR person I could talk too. I don’t recommend this place if you need anything xray’d
This urgent care is the most efficient urgent care I have ever been to. The team is courteous and thorough. The physicians are focused on finding the issue and getting resolution. Not to mention the wait time is low. Second visit here and both times resolved and in/out under an hour. Highly recommend this urgent care!
