if you like mediocre food that is about on par with k&w cafeteria that comes from a grossly overpriced menu with quirky names that relate to grateful dead songs and vegan general manager that knows nothing about food and is a brown nosing yes man that loves to give food away and will even bum a cigarette (for over intoxicated patrons that he continues to serve alcohol to) from the extremely under appreciated kitchen staff that he treats like indentured servants, then this is the place for you! RecommendedA friend and I saw a “44 & King” suggestion on Facebook and decided to try it out this past Monday. We had never been before but love new places and decided to give it a shot! The location is perfect in a very nice plaza with a rustic yet modern and inviting building. From start to finish our experience here was incredible- our server Kwanza was engaging and attentive and Richard the General Manager made it a point to stop by our table to visit and make sure we were comfortable. Visited 44 & king a month or two ago when I was visiting family, our server Kwanza was very understanding and patient with my son. Need more servers like him!!!

I had the best waiter he was so patience with my family because we never ate here before. He told us some things that’s we would like because where form a small town so don’t get to try different food often. kwanza did a great job I will ask for him again and he will be ask for when we go back!
This is our new favorite place to eat when we are in the area! Not only was the food delicious, but our server Kwanza was very helpful and really gave us the old world hospitality charm you just don’t find anymore.
We loved 44 & King while we were on a short vacation! The food was so great and our server, Mattie, was amazing. She made sure we had everything we needed and gave us some great recommendations on food and drinks for my husband. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in town!

Probably one of the best places to eat in a while, our first time here. My husband and I were out on a date night and had some good food. Our waiter Kwanza was very polite and respectful to us when taking our order, he deserves a raise for all his hard work. Thank you for a great date night and first time experience.
