You are paying around 1500 for a slum. BJB properties is doing everything they can to milk this slum before it caves in as an investment. I, and many other have written reviews revealing the roach infestation and other problems of this place you get locked into with a year lease. They will make you sign waivers of lead and asbestos not being visibly present because it is a cover up. Those are the least of your worries. COCKROACHES AND NEGLIGENCE This place has an insane cockroach problem. They will send an exterminator to your individual unit, but have not sent us out to fumigate the entire building. There is nothing being done and zero communication to tenants about the obvious problem (you can see dead roaches littering the basement floor all summer long). Lackluster security I had an incident where I came home on a Sunday, when no security is on duty, and a half naked drunk/high fat woman was on the elevator and not leaving. I spent over 40 minutes waiting for an ambulance and trying to talk to her to see what was wrong until she eventually got out of the elevator, gave me very uncomfortable comments and looks, and went up the stairwell to who knows where. Nice location, decent prices, cockroach problem I lived here for about six months in 2021. Can’t beat the location of this building. The prices are also very reasonable for rather sizeable units. Don’t be fooled by the cleanliness of the recently updated lobby, however. This place runs rampant with cockroaches and the hallways wreak of cigarette smoke.
The Wifi on Mars is faster Don’t move here if you plan on working from home and need wifi during covid.

Perfect I truly have nothing bad to say about this apartment. Georgiana, one of the property managers is absolutely wonderful and is so pleasant to deal with. All my work orders have been completed the same day they're requested. It's quiet, safe, updated, and all utilities are included (even internet!) the area is amazing. do you like camping? Unless you like camping, look elsewhere. Water leaks from roof when it rains, or burst water pipes in kitchen ceiling. big one, not the little trickle. elevators constantly out of orders. commons are meh, except on first floor to show new prospects.Garage is a stock yard for broken appliances and else, when sewage pipes do not need flushing. you 'd better drive a mini to park, because otherwise you will not be able to. now have a prayer and a sense of humor for management, because they need your support.... read more

The amenities included in this building are also off the charts - wifi included in your rent, a spacious laundry room, a work-out facility on the top floor with views of the city and rooftop access that overlooks Lincoln Park and Lake Michigan, to name a few.
