Lived here for 2 years and loved it! The leasing staff, concierges, and other tenants have been very welcoming. Sarah and Jason in the leasing office were always so helpful and kind. My unit was in great condition, was incredibly spacious, and had a gorgeous view. I never had a problem with noise either. The maintenance staff was amazing - they were super friendly and fixed things in a timely manner.
Horrible place to live. If you want random charges on top your baseline rent, doorman/women who won't move a little to help when you carrying large packages please choose this place. On top of everything, the dog release area is disgusting as always. The maintenance is very rude and unprofessional to say the least. They will need 3 times to 'fix' a dishwasher or a malfunctional freezer that ruins all your expensive purchases. It is one of the worst place in the Streetervile area to rent
Honestly, living at 420 East Ohio Street in Chicago has been great. The apartments are big and the rent is relatively affordable compared to other buildings in the neighborhood, plus the staff is super nice. There is a gym, pool, mailroom, and storage which is a huge plus. The neighborhood is really quiet and safe, which I love. Definitely would recommend living here if you're looking in Chicago.
I’m an international student and living at 420 E Ohio has become a nightmare. Since May 9th, after the apartment's AC was turned on, I’ve been suffering from unbearable noise from the rooftop water tower that makes it impossible to sleep. At first the manager said they cannot do anything and let me get out of the office and said "your room is habitable enough". After repeated complaints, management said they will try to expedite repairs but now say it will still take a month, with no alternative solutions or compensation off... read more
