Wouldn't recommend I though after visiting this place it was over priced for the amount and quality of the food. There wasn't many choices for a slightly picky eater. The atmosphere was nice romantic but not to closed in for the begining of dating.
MADE ME SICK. They had a gluten free menu ready when I got there, as I'd called with questions about their GF offerings before going and been assured they take all the proper precautions to keep food gluten free in the kitchen.. Well, they lied because I have been sick for a week now since eating there. I haven't had a reaction in gluten in years because I am so careful. And this is the worst reaction I've ever had. Really disappointed – We were expecting more than we got. The place looks great - upscale and casual. Our first clue was that we could get seated right away on a Saturday night. The food was average at best - the salmon on his salad was smaller than the container the dressing came in. The turkey on my salad was right out of the container from the grocery store shelf. 419 is your local neighborhood bar and grill!! – I think that 419 is like the neighborhood bar and grill that every body likes to hang out. I find the establishment one of my very favorites. It starts with the wait staff. In the bar area, I find that these people have been with 419 longer than ther people in the food area. The bar staff is the best. Great service, great food - not overly busy (yet) – Visiting from out of town on a Saturday night in October 2006, my husband and I just happened to drive by 419West immediately past Tanglewood Mall. From the outside, we could not tell what we were in for. With very little wait, we were escorted to our table. We were dressed in jean and sweaters, but many people were in suits.
